Join Dr Callum Macgregor from the University of Hull to discover how light pollution impacts on nocturnal wildlife. Dark skies are not just important to astronomers, but also to the many animals and plants that make use of the night-time, not least moths!
Callum will discuss how, far from being pests of wardrobes and carpets, moths make an important contribution to the health of ecosystems by providing nocturnal pollination to plants. He'll then describe how this "ecosystem service", and many others, are threatened by artificial light at night.
